Respresso was founded by Ellen Fan, a high school senior in California, who is an environmental activist who has dedicated most of her high school life to promoting sustainability. When she helped make morning coffee for her parents each day, the coffee ground waste inspired her to turn it to something useful. After numerous experiments and research, Respresso was finally born, first the coffee cup, then the soap and straws and many others coming up.
